These were confusing at first. It looks just like a piece of plastic. But when you start using it for the first time, the abrasive becomes exposed and it starts working great. They last a really long time too. Definitely worth the money.
Works well for smoothing, A bit harder to lower a flat area of concrete unless you put it slightly on edge to get a few grooves that can then be leveled out.
These little polishing wheels are surprisingly effective and durable. I used them for a concrete countertop project and they worked exceptionally well.
